TRAINING PROGRAMS

I. ServSafe Food Handler Certification 

The premier provider of food safety training is proud to offer solutions to meet any food handler training need. Whether you are an employee seeking a Food Handler Card or an operation seeking a compliant solution for your employees, the National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe® Food Handler Program has a product that’s right for you. (Please note each food service establishment in North Carolina requires that staff member(s) successfully complete this training and have current certification to ensure that their establishment receives a maximum numeric rating.) 

II. National Sales and Customer Service Certification  

The Customer Service and Sales curriculum is designed to help entry-level sales and service associates learn skills related to frontline work in retail (or any industry that values customer service and sales skills). Individuals taking the course will learn:

• Products and services • Assessing and meeting customer needs • Preparing for selling, gaining customer commitment and closing the sale • The basics of store operations and inventory control • The process of merchandising

This training is nationally recognized and endorsed by major retailers including Best Buy, The Container Store (The average sales associate at The Container Store earns almost $50k per year.) and Macy's.

III. Hotel and Hospitality Certifications  

This industry is one of the fastest growing industries in Charlotte and around the world. By completing this training our clients can tap into endless employment opportunities with good pay and unlimited career potential.

A. Guestroom Attendant certification recognizes the skills and knowledge needed to keep guest rooms clean, safe and maintained at a lodging property.

B. The Kitchen Cook certification recognizes the skills and knowledge needed to succeed as a food preparation professional in a food service operation.

C. The Front Desk Representative certification recognizes the skills and knowledge needed to succeed as a professional in a front-line position at a lodging property.

D. The Maintenance Employee certification recognizes the skills and knowledge needed to succeed as a professional in a front-line position at a lodging property.

 

All of the above certifications are supported by the START and quickSTART (Skills, Tasks, and Results Training) programs. START resources present concise instructions for training new or prospective employees on how to perform key tasks correctly, along with the general hospitality knowledge, and soft skills needed in the hospitality industry. Training options include:

 

• START: Classroom or workshop setting

• quickSTART: On-the-job training

• START Online Learning: Individuals study at their own pace

 

Successful candidates who complete the START or quickSTART program and pass the certification exam will receive a certificate, lapel pin and global recognition for their accomplishment. 

IV. Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians  

The Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians (CAMT) course is designed as an introduction for new maintenance technicians, or as a refresher for the veteran employee, to give these professionals the knowledge and tools necessary to run an effective maintenance program and pave a career path towards success. CAMT is the only apartment maintenance program approved by ANSI (American National Standards Institute) as an accredited certificate program, which means it has met the highest professional standards of curriculum development and administration within the ISO/IEC 17011 guidelines.

 

Take this course if you are motivated to increase your technical, business, and personal development skills, while immediately improving on-the-job performance. When you successfully complete the course and meet the designation requirements, you’ll earn the nationally recognized CAMT Certificate!

V. National apartment leasing professional

This course starts by asking participants to think about the leasing process from the prospective and new resident’s point of view. This helps conceptualize the idea that everything they learn can be placed within the context of what’s important to building a successful leasing relationship and starting your career in the property management industry. The Leasing Professionals learn professionalism, teamwork, organization, time management, and technology, all with the goal of developing the skills they need to successfully bring in new residents to their communities.
